Isuzu East Africa, the leading manufacturer and distributor of Isuzu vehicles in the region, in partnership with MAC East Africa, a renowned dealer of Isuzu vehicles in the Ugandan market, recently hosted a vibrant Bus Operators Appreciation Dinner.
The event was held on 7th June 2024 at Four Points by Sheraton to celebrate and appreciate the continued partnership with esteemed members in the bus operating industry.
The dinner brought together over 50 key stakeholders, including bus operators and directors, transporters, and industry experts, to celebrate the long-standing partnerships and collaborations. The event provided a platform for Isuzu East Africa and MAC East Africa to express their gratitude for the customers’ continued support and loyalty.

The event featured a keynote address by Mr. Daniel Nangalama, the Deputy Executive Director of UNBS, who highlighted the importance of regular vehicle inspections of buses and adhering to the standards and quality assurance protocols in the bus operator industry.
He also pushed MAC East Africa and Isuzu East Africa to invest in training programs or certification schemes to promote growth and development of the bus operator industry.
Guests also enjoyed a cocktail reception, dinner, and entertainment to close off the event.
